Pastor's Weekly Message

"He has made everything beautiful in its time ..." Ecclesiastes 3:11 RSV
The sunflowers have toppled over, some with heads so huge that they snapped under their own weight.  The tomato plants, some still heavy with fruit, are pretty much done, no more ripening to be done.  About the same may be said of roses, not many buds left to open, or chances for them to do so.
But there, in a planter by the back of the house, are the bright yellow blooming mums.  They opened a week ago and will be open for a while yet.  We have had them for some time, bringing them up from Albany.  They are beautiful in their startling brightness.
Another witness to "everything beautiful in its time".
In praise of the Creator,
Pastor Randy
"God is forgiving.  No matter our actions and straining of relationships.  God is bigger and more compassionate than we can comprehend.  God not only forgives but also restores.  Thanks be to God.  Amen."
