Pastor's Weekly Message

"I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." John 10:10

Those words of Jesus seemed to point to this day, now passed, and the fullness of it.  There was a funeral, filled with tears, laughter, the celebration of life, the promise of the resurrection.  There were many folks who gave of their time to fill the moments with reverence, joy and comfort.  There was abundance.

This evening there was another night of Vacation Bible School.  There were the kids and their seeming boundless energy, music by a son of this family of faith who shared his amazing gifts, and again many folks who gave of themselves to lead crafts, feed, teach and sometimes generally corral their young charges.  All in an attempt to share the good news, and maybe even plant some seeds.

The rich abundance of life.  Thanks Lord.

In Christ,
Pastor Randy

"Holy God, we are awed by your power, humbled by your mystery, astounded by your glory.  We celebrate you as Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer.  We thank you that you speak to your people and ask that you grant us the courage and grace to respond in faith.  Amen."
