Pastor's Weekly Message

"For I the Lord do not change..."  Malachi 3:6

Was blessed to be at the coast recently.  Stayed at a part of the beach we have not been to before.  This beach was smaller with a steep drop toward the water.  So the waves seemed bigger crashing closer to the shore itself.  It was pretty spectacular.

There were huge logs everywhere, big branches protruding from the sand from deeply buried trees.  And as different as it was there was that constant roar.  Powerful, soothing, constant, enthralling, and a reminder to me of the unchanging presence of the Creator of all things.

Foot prints and other tracks from the previous days meanderings were gone in the morning, but not the awesome beauty before me.  Thanks for the constance Lord, and a for a chance to turn to such a presence in the midst of one other constant, change.

In Christ,
Pastor Randy

"O God, how many times do we miss you?  We long to see your face, to know that you are with us.  Remind us that you have not left us, you are not far off.  Help us to stop and look around, to be still and listen.  For only when we take the time to watch and hear, will we be able to know that we have encountered you.  Amen."
