Pastor's Weekly Message

"....I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established"  Psalm 8:3

I have written about the moon in this space before.  This is the perfect time to do so again, tonight there is a full moon high in the sky.  It is also a Blue moon and there won't be another one of those until 2015.  Native Americans called the full moon at this time of year the Full Sturgeon Moon, and farmers called it the Green Corn Moon.

All that being said I just know that it came into view as Taylor, Avery and I were finishing a bike ride.  It sat, seemingly, at the end of the street, and it was beautiful. I have stepped outside several more times just to look at it, and in a last night time viewing this beautiful work of the Creator's hand is bathing the back yard in a gentle silver light.  The evening is mild, with a soft breeze stirring the leaves and the crickets adding a chorus of praise to the whole sweet setting.

Thanks for these moments of appreciation and peace Lord.

As always, in praise of the Creator,
Pastor Randy

"Thank you for the gift of your love, which strengthens us and enables us to do more than we could ever imagine.  Thank you for Jesus, who came that we might know what a life of perfect love looks like, may we continue to learn and live from his life.  Amen."
